How
to Submit Artwork to USWSIgn:
1. Save
the file in its simplest form - Eliminate any unnecessary information
from the file. Size indicators, headers or footers have little to
do with the artwork and should be eliminated. Please indicate in
your Email the dimensions, whether file is built at 50% or 200%
size etc.
2. VERY
IMPORTANT: Please change all text to curves or outlines in your
files. Graphics must be sent over in "Vectorized"
art, not Raster i.e. (line drawings-- not Bitmaps). This is usually
done with a command similar to Text to Curves, or
Text to Paths & Create Outlines
for Mac users for us to work with the graphics. We in order to make
full sized patterns, neon, and clean up the logos etc.
3. All
files must be in PC format. Macintosh files must be converted to
an IBM accessible format. If possible please compress files using
WinZip (Click Here to download
latest version of WinZip).
Uncompressed
attachments to and from AOL are frequently distorted or damaged,
rendering them useless. Any questions concerning electronic files
should be directed to our Digital Imaging department.
4. Save
as a couple of formats, we prefer an .eps file, saved as curves,
paths for Mac users - IBM format only. The more types of
files you send the better chance you have of finding a compatible
file type. Our secondary format choice is .AI files. We can accept
the following formats and are shown in preferred order.
.eps ( Encapsulated
Postscript),
.ai (Adobe Illustrator 8.0 or lower),
.cdr (Corel Draw 9.0)
.dxf (CAD )
.dwg (CAD)
.scv (Casmate-Scanvec)
5. Get
online and use your E-mail program. Attach your file to the following
Email address Design@USWSign.com
and hit send . The artwork should show up at the users address soon
after and it's easy to do.
All digital
files can be submitted on the following media and should be formatted
to be IBM compatible:
