PRIME BRONZE (220 Commercial) is used for bronze plaques. This alloy is lead and mercury free. Plaque faces are stroke-sanded with baked enamel backrounds before being clear-coated and oven-baked with a two part hardened acrylic polyurethane.

Tolerances on bar code widths can be held to .001 inches.

	Personnel Plates These plates are generally manufactured by cutting through a top layer of plastic to expose the bottom layer of plastic (usually a contrasting color). Metallic plates can also be engraved and filled with a contrasting color. These plates are very durable and while they too can be generated by computers the mechanical engraving for complex styles may become costly. Other methods include reverse engraving, which can give a beautiful 3 dimensional effect, and vinyl diecutting, which allows the greatest design flexibility.
	Holders Traditional holders can be furnished in extruded gold or silver anodized aluminum as well as walnut wood bases. Architectural frames and holders can be custom made from extruded aluminum or decorative molded plastic. 	Cast Bronze Cast Plaques are available in both aluminum and bronze. For thousands of years, cast bronze plaques have been used to commemorate: outstanding achievement by an individual, group of people, or an organization. The casting process provides significant relief of the copy so that images of faces, buildings, and logos standout readily against the background. The plaques come with a number of standard border styles and mounting methods. Please contact your sales representative with any questions or concerns.
	Donor Donor plaques typically have a brass header plate and numerous smaller brass plates which are affixed via wood screws to, typically, a walnut mount. To arrive at a price for these plaques you need to determine the number of donners you currently need to recognize and then add for the number of future donners that you anticipate. In addition we will need to know if there are any special considerations in considering the size of the donner plates. 1? X 3? plates are standard.
	Award Award plaques are generally preprinted plates that can be personalized at the time of recognition. Usually the personalization is achieved by engraving a person?s name and date. Please contact your sales representative if you have any special needs.

Our all-electric, pollution-free furnaces in Texas, Iowa and Minnesota melt the virgin bronze and aluminum ingot used in the process. Our hand finished product is produced for you in about 8 days ? often for less than what you would expect to pay for such quality.

	Durability & Long Lasting Beauty. Natural satin is standard but not the only option. Lifetime Guarantee on all finishes. Mounting hardware included with all orders with appropriate stud diameter for quality installation. All materials cast are lead and mercury free.

Custom Colors?Metal Arts uses the most accurate state of the art coloring system available to the sign industry. PMS (Pantone) printing ink colors should be used as a guide only, as they cannot be matched exactly in opaque coatings.

#10 Satin Brite Aluminum
Faces are belt polished to a fine satin finish. Sides are sandblasted and finished with two coats of high grade clear lacquer coating.

#20 Acrylic Baked Enamel
Two heavy coats of high grade acrylic urethane enamel. Baked at 200 degrees F. Custom colors add $100.00 per color.

#30 Satin Alumilite
Faces and sides are belt polished to a fine satin finish and completed with a clear anodized finish.

#40 Colored Anodic Finishes
Same as #30 Satin Alumilite except finish to be Kalcolor, Duranodic or Permanodic in light, medium or dark bronze, gold and black. (Note: Although anodic finishes are very durable, a variation in color may exist.)

#50 Satin Bronze
or Yellow Brass
Faces are belt polished to a fine satin finish. Sides are sandblasted and finished with acrylic Polyurethane clear coating.

#60 Oxidize Bronze
Letters are the same as #50 Satin Bronze except they are chemically oxidized to a dark statuary color, hand rubbed and protected with acrylic Polyurethane clear coating.

Machine screws going through optional rosettes into cement filled holes.

TYPE B-SOLID WALL MOUNT

Installation using toggle bolts with optional rosettes for hollow or drywall mount.

Installation into wood surfaces using wood screws and optional rosettes.

TYPE D-WOOD WALL MOUNT

Machine screws going through 3/8" thick black anodized stakes into back of plaque. Maximum plaque size is 12" x 8" for 1 stake or 20" x 8" for 2 stakes.

TYPE E-GARDEN STAKE MOUNT

Black enamel-coated steel square posts attach to the back of the plaque with machine screws. Post can be welded with an angle you specify.

SIGN 2000 has the capability to add a custom emblem or logo to your plaque in two different ways: One method the emblem/logo is made as part of the plaque. Detail is somewhat limited by the manufacturing process. The other method is to have the emblem/logo etched on a separate piece of metal and then attached to the plaque. This process has nearly no detail restrictions.
